Oppo F7 With 25MP Selfie Camera And 6.2-Inch 19:9 Display Launched

Oppo has today finally launched its latest flagship the new Oppo F7 smartphone in India. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. 21,990 for 4GB and 64GB RAM variant and Rs. 26,990 for 6GB RAM and 128GB variant. It will be available to purchase starting from April 9 via Flipkart and offline stores as well. Oppo is also having a flash sale on 2nd April where buyers can get additional benefits such as 5% discount with ICICI Bank, Rs. 1200 cashback and additional 120 GB data from Reliance Jio, free one-year screen replacement warranty and 0% EMI. It comes in Solar red, Moonlight Silver, and Diamond Black edition.

Oppo F7 specifications

The Oppo F7 runs on ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It sports a 6.2” full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) 19:9 LTPS IPS LCD Super full-screen display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone is powered by a 2GHz MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72MP3 GPU. As mentioned above, it offers two memory configurations –  4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, the storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Oppo F7 comes equipped with 16MP primary sensors with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and AI technology. The AI scene recognition can identify various objects on the scene like food, a flower pot among others. With portrait mode, you can take pictures with depth effects. On the front, it has a 25MP Sony IMX576 sensor with AI Beauty Technology 2.0, it can recognize 296 plus facial feature spots and can also recognize the arms and neck. The AI can also differentiate the gender, age, skin tone and skin type. Other AI features include vivid mode, group selfie modification, AR sticker, speedy facial unlock, and Real-time HDR modes

The Oppo F7 is fueled by a 3400mAh battery with fast charging and AI battery management support. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS/ A-GPS, and micro USB 2.0 with OTG is support. It also has a fingerprint scanner on the back. There is also a ‘Notch Assistant’ feature which allow users to access gestures to navigate between apps.
