After launching Vivo X20 Plus UD – world’s first phone to feature in-screen fingerprint scanner, the company seems to be preparing to create the buzz again. Vivo’s next flagship smartphone dubbed as Vivo Xpaly 7 has been leaked on Weibo with all its specs in a PPT document.
A few months ago we got a glimpse of the Vivo Xplay7, at that time it said to feature a zero bezel screen with 100% screen-to-body ratio. But recent leak suggests that the smartphone will feature a 92.9 screen-to-body ratio.
As per the leaked image, the main highlight of the Vivo Xpay 7 is its massive 10GB RAM. Currently, no smartphone is being commercialized with such capacity, and only 8GB models are available on the market. Furthermore, the Vivo Xplay 7 will sport an edge-to-edge OLED display with 4K resolution.
The leaked image also reveals that the Vivo Xplay 7 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and offers 256GB and 512GB internal storage options. Presently, it is only Samsung that has started mass producing the 512GB flash memory. The handset is also expected to sport Vivo’s outstanding under-glass ultrasonic fingerprint sensor powered by Synaptics.
The Vivo Xplay7 is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup with 4X lossless zoom and a next-gen facial recognition solution or Face Unlock 2.0. There is currently no update on the pricing and availability but we expect it to be available in the coming weeks or at MWC 2018. We advise our reader to take this leak with a pinch of salt as there is no official information available.
