
Microsoft is finally launched its next-generation gaming console, the Xbox One X in India. The console has been launched in India with the price tag of Rs. 44,990 and will be available to purchase starting January 15 from Amazon India and Flipkart as well as select physical retail stores.
The Xbox One X, Previously codenamed as Project Scorpio, is the world’s first console designed to run games at true 4K resolution, it is most powerful gaming console in the world, also the smallest Xbox ever, according to Microsoft. It can play some title at up to 60 frames per second.
Talking about specifications, the Xbox One X is powered by a customized x86 cores 2.3GHz CPU coupled with 40-core 1,172 MHz customized GPU with 6 teraflops of graphical power. It offers 2GB of GDDR5 RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The Xbox One X is capable of outputting games at a 4K Ultra-HD resolution with high-dynamic range and Dolby Atmos audio. It also comes with a UHD Blu-ray player and is capable to stream movies through Netflix and Amazon Prime video.
Microsoft announced the Xbox One X, at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June 2017. Globally, the Xbox One X is selling for $499 (roughly Rs 31,639) since November 2017; currently, it is available in India in the grey market for around Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 42,000.
